So we ended up with a good 10 inches of snow from last night. It was very fluffy stuff so no snowman last night. Today, however was about 40 and turned the white stuff to perfect snowman making snow! This happens to be the first EVER snowman Miles has made. Every storm that he has been old enough to partake in the wintertime fun has produced inadequate snowman snow. So here are the pics and the video of "Frosty!"

No "Ho Ho Horrors" this year!
So we went back to the church in Plainville for the breakfast with Santa. We were prepared for the worst, seeing as last year's visit to the big man made the special section in the paper entitled "Ho Ho Horrors!" We had been preparing Miles all weekend and morning, he was very excited, but this could all change with one look. So we walked into the hall and pointed out Santa. "Do you want to go see him," we asked and Miles nodded. We got within 20 feet and Miles jumped down and ran towards the jolly old elf, yelling "SANTA!" Santa scooped him up and Miles gave him a huge hug. We were so struck with surprise we didn't even have the camera out. Miles and Santa chatted like old pals and we got these pics...
We had breakfast and Miles played with Bridget, Nick, and Nadia.
We bid adieu to Santa and told him we looked forward to his visit Christmas Eve.

Thanksgiving 2007
Well, we made it through another holiday. It was quite the whirlwind of activity, but we managed to make it everywhere we had to be.
We started our Thanksgiving Day at Nana and Papas for lunch. Of course we had a traditional Italian holiday, packed with TONS of food! Miles helped Nanna with the dishes as well (Mommy has no idea where he came from).
Next, it was off to Grammy and Grumpa's for dinner. Miles had lots of fun with his cousins Nicole and Grant, singing and dancing...
The next day we went to the Amazement Center with Nicole and Grant to have some fun. Miles loved it, and his big cousins were sure to watch out for him and make sure no one messed with him!
On Sunday we headed to the mall to get our family pictures done at Sears...
Then Nanna had a surprise for Miles... we went to the Build a Bear workshop to make his very own Rudolph (since it is his absolute favorite Christmas story)! We also stopped to say hi to Mickey.
We left NH around nap time so Miles could sleep in the car. When we got back to CT Miles and Daddy raked some leaves, and then came in for some hot chocolate and horseplay.
It was another great weekend. We are looking forward to spending a whole week in NH for Christmas.

V is for VICTORY!
Daddy wins!!!! Daddy wins by a lot! We are so proud of him. He worked very hard, and it all paid off in the end. It must have been all the "Vote for MY DADDY" chanting I did! I love you Daddy!
This picture was taken by the Herald photographer (Rob Heyl)-we'll be ordering a print (though it is $20!)
Thanks to everyone for the support!

Family
New Jersey-ites Visit CT!
Dena's Aunt Paula (AP) and Uncle Pete (UP) came up from NJ for the day to visit with us! Nanna and Papa also came down. Things get pretty crazy and it has been a year since we last saw them when we went down to visit. We all realized that this was crazy since CT seems to be half way from NJ and NH, so we have vowed to get together more often! We ventured out on the rainy day to show AP and UP the magic that is Stew Leonard's and to have some lunch, aka eat the many samples they have around the store. Any apprehension at spending an afternoon in a "food store" quickly went away with the first "moooo" at the entrance. We came back to the house for dinner and AP and UP left to head back. A great day that needs to happen more often!
