Big Boy Bed!

So, due to many things, including Miles' continued attempts at freeing himself from the crib, we decided it was time to take the front bars off of the crib and convert it to a toddler bed. We made a big deal of getting him his bed set, and he picked the Sesame Street ensemble you see here. He loves it! He told us, "This is an AWESOME bed!" So far so good... he only got out twice when we put him down, and slept the night without incident. He got up this morning at 7am, and came to the gate (that we put in his doorway to prevent any nighttime visits or field trips) and he yelled, "Mommy, I awake!" We told him he had to stay in the bed till Mommy or Daddy came for him, and he went back and waited. So, hopefully the next couple of nights will be as good as last night!
